WWE Rumors: Tyson Fury Making Big Risk As Match With Monster Among Men Looms

British boxing champion Tyson Fury has been known to shoot his mouth off, making him an ideal character in the WWE. Seeing however that he is still active in boxing, all that could materialize at some point. But it appears he may be fast-tracking things a bit with a looming match with Braun Strowman over the horizon.

On the same WWE SmackDown episode where Cain Velasquez debuted, Fury hopped over the guardrail as he seemed to be ready to fight Strowman. Security cut him off but it seems pretty clear that there is a storyline brewing here. Not a stranger to controversies, Fury will get the chance to shoot his mouth off at the Oct. 7 edition of WWE Raw. From the plotted seeds, it's not difficult to see where this is headed.

In fact, Fury has already started some sparks on social media. It is pretty clear that Fury is looking to fight Strowman if the Monster Among Men does not "behave" according to the Gypsy King, Boxingscene.com reported.

“I was insulted in front of my full family by Braun Strowman, it got a little bit heated and we saw what happened,” Fury said. “If Braun Strowman doesn’t behave himself, he’ll get some of these hands, the big dosser.”

Undeniably, this is a fight that will interest a lot of WWE and boxing fans. But the timing seems a bit off since Fury is scheduled to face WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in February. No official date has been set.

Though most know how storylines are made to look, the big risk the Gypsy King is taking would be potential injuries. It could be a boxing match at first but most know that in the WWE, things are taken to another level at some point. A power slam from Strowman could be telling on Fury. The 31-year-old could compromise that upcoming clash with Wilder.

Fury and Wilder battled to a draw last Dec. 2018 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Wilder felt that he should have won that bout, dropping Fury twice in the final round, Boxingscene.com mentioned in a separate report.

Before all that, Wilder needs to deal with Luis Ortiz on Nov. 23. A win should pave the way for a clash with Fury - assuming he is healthy enough to fight in February.
