Yahoo launched a new site, http://shine.yahoo.com/, which will feature content from magazines targeting women.

The new site will be targeting mainly women aged 25 to 54 and will focus on subjects such as love, money, beauty, home and parenting. Yahoo, the world's largest online portal, partnered with Hearst Corp. and Conde Nast Publications Inc. to bring content from magazines including Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Redbook to the site.

We are delighted that Yahoo has turned so many of our magazines and websites for content for its new women's website, said Rick Levine, Conde Nast vice president of editorial operations.

Yahoo Media senior vice president, Scott Moore, said the new site will help women who start the day with Yahoo to have more relevant experience on various topics that will be featured in the Shine.

The new site is forecasted to return a lot of advertising revenue to Yahoo including adverts for consumer packed goods, pharmaceuticals and retail.
