Actor Dylan Minnette and musician Lydia Night have broken up after four years of being in a relationship.

The 22-year-old musician confirmed their split on an Instagram Story Thursday. "I've seen a lot of speculation and i'd rather just clarify: dylan and i have decided to end our romantic relationship," the musician wrote.

"We love and care about each other very much and that won't change as we enter a new phase of our lives," she added. "Please respect our privacy during this time."

A Dylan Minette fan account shared a screenshot of Night's post on Twitter.

Minnette, on the other hand, has not yet spoken up about the breakup on social media. However, he deleted all his Instagram posts.

Despite this, Night's Instagram page still has many photos of the two of them hanging out together. Her last post featuring the actor was from April, and it shows the musician kissing the actor on his cheeks while he holds a red cup.

The former couple began dating in October 2018. They made their romance Instagram official on Nov. 17 of that year when they posted two black and white photos of them together.

"Burrata buddies," Night captioned her post.

On the work front, Minnette was last seen in the series "The Dropout," which tells the story of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. He portrayed entrepreneur Tyler Shultz in the series, which was released in March.

He also appeared as Wes Hicks in the popular horror thriller franchise "Scream," which was helmed by directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The flick's other cast members included Courteney Cox, Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Melissa Barrera.

The actor rose to fame with the mystery thriller series "13 Reasons Why," in which he played Clay Jensen from 2017 to 2020.

Night, on the other hand, is known for writing the "Hey Now" track for 2017's comedy-drama "The Last Word." She also wrote the words for the song "California Friends," which came out in 2020. The song was featured in the movie, "Unpregnant."

The musician was featured in a music video, "You're So F--king Pretty," which came out in February.
