There’s trouble in paradise — “Bachelor In Paradise,” that is. The show’s fate is uncertain after production of the ABC series was halted due to alleged sexual misconduct on the set.

The network has yet to reveal when the show will resume production, if at all, which means you’ll need to find other shows to busy yourself with as summer comes to a close. “Bachelor In Paradise” was originally set to return to ABC on August 8. In the meantime, sink your teeth into the drama surrounding “Bachelor In Paradise” Season 4. The suspension is reportedly linked to a raunchy hookup between “Bachelorette” Season 13 star DeMario Jackson and “Bachelor” Season 21 villain Corinne Olympios. According to TMZ, their poolside fling escalated to a point that one producer got uncomfortable, pushing Warner Bros. to stop production to investigate the situation further.

Several versions of why an investigation has been deemed necessary have cropped up overnight. Sources claimed that producers planned to have DeMario and Corinne hook up on the show, but things got out of hand. The two villains reportedly met at a bar for drinks which lead to some serious PDA.
“Intense rubbing was involved,” one source said.

While cameras rolled on the duo, Corinne’s said to have suggested going to a swim. Their dip in the pool quickly took a turn, becoming x-rated as they ditched their clothes and began “rubbing, touching and fingering.” The pair allegedly didn’t have sex due to their level of intoxication, but the damage was done.

The following morning, all was well between Corinne and DeMario. The pair were called to meet with an executive producer to discuss what went down. The “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” villains were sent packing and an investigation into their “misconduct” was allegedly launched.

Another version of the night’s events comes from Amy Kaufman, an L.A. Times writer who spoke with sources connected to “Bachelor In Paradise.” She shared the insider’s revelation on Twitter, suggesting that after watching Corinne and DeMario nearly get it on, one producer skipped work the following day. That producer reportedly sued over what she’d seen that night, filing a “third party complaint.”

Warner Bros. has been tight lipped about the fate of “Bachelor In Paradise.” In a statement, the company claimed to be “aware of allegations of misconduct on the set,” but provided no further details about what transpired. Production has been suspended for now with no definite date as to when it will resume.

“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ in Mexico,” Warner Bros. said. “We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”

Neither Corinne nor DeMario has spoken out about what went down on the “Bachelor in Paradise” set. The show was originally set to premiere on ABC on August 8.
