The world is mourning following the recent confirmation of several celebrity deaths — from Jamie Lopez to Stephanie Bissonnette.

The year 2022 challenged fans around the globe after several celebrity deaths were continuously published online. Among those notable people whose passing created a buzz include Louie Anderson, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, Christine McVie, Meat Loaf, Bob Saget, Sidney Poitier, Brad William Henke, Irene Cara, Jason David Frank and Aaron Carter.

Only less than two weeks before this year ends, the music and TV industries suffered more losses, one after another. Here are the four artists who died within the last two days.

Bertha Barbee McNeal

Motown Museum's official Instagram page confirmed Bertha Barbee McNeal's death. She was the co-founder of the Motown girl group The Velvelettes.

According to Detroit News, McNeal battled colon cancer in the years leading to her death. Upon receiving the advanced status of the dreaded disease, she stayed in hospice care, where she passed away.

Charlie Gracie

ABKCO Records, the parent company of Charlie Gracie's label Cameo Records, released a statement on its social media pages to share the news about his death. The rock icon's son, Charlie Gracie Jr., said that his father had been ill for a long time before his death.

Gracie also contracted the COVID-19 virus following his final two shows in Long Island and Wilkes-Barre.

Meanwhile, his Facebook account shared the messages the musician received from his colleagues and fans after learning about his death. It also asked everyone to respect his bereaved family's privacy amid trying times.

"Until then, we kindly ask that you respect the privacy and wishes of the family and allow for some breathing room," the page said. "Any information posted is speculative until it comes to you from right here. The family will fully inform you then. We love you all and thank you for your perpetual kindness."

Jamie Lopez

TMZ reported that "Super Sized Salon" star Jamie Lopez died following her hospitalization in Las Vegas. Sources told the news outlet that she passed away over the weekend after suffering heart complications.

"We regretfully announce, with great pain, the passing of The Founder & Owner of Babydoll Beauty Couture, The Legendary Jamie Lopez," her representative announced. "We ask, on behalf of the Babydoll family, that you allow us time to process this tremendous loss."

Lopez notably launched Babydoll Beauty, which she designed when she became too heavy to get up from her bed. The TV star also left an unforgettable impression when she documented her 400 lb weight loss journey.

Stephanie Bissonnette

Broadway's production of "Mean Girls" shared the news of Stephanie Bissonnette's death on Twitter. It remembered the actress as someone who "filled [the] theater with her laughter and friendship."

Since 2019, she endured the effects of her medulloblastoma diagnosis, a form of brain cancer. She told SurvivorNet in 2020 that she noticed something was not right when she felt a "twinge" during a "Mean Girls" performance.

Bissonnette underwent a procedure to remove her tumor, but she had to be away from the play as she received treatment for cancer.
