February can’t come soon enough for executive producer Ryan Murphy’s new series, “American Crime Story.” The man who has brought TV lovers hit shows like “Nip/ Tuck,” “Glee,” and “American Horror Story” is ready to tackle the true life story of O.J. Simpson’s criminal trial in Season 1 of his new FX drama.

Although “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson” isn’t set to premiere until February 2016, FX has released the first teaser trailer. “The trial of the century,” reads the caption of the YouTube video. “As you’ve never seen it before.”

Unfortunately the teaser video doesn’t reveal any footage from the upcoming series. Instead, viewers are treated to text introducing the actors as the real-life people they are portraying. As the text plays out on screen, audio of the actors can be heard as well.

“American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson” is about O.J. Simpson’s murder trial. In 1994, the former professional football player and actor was infamously accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and waiter Ronald Lyle Goldman. The “Trial of the Century” began on Nov. 2, 1994 and concluded on Oct. 3, 1995. Simpson was ultimately acquitted.

The TV series stars Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. Simpson, Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark, John Travolta as defense team member Robert Shapiro, David Schwimmer as defense attorney Robert Kardashian and Courtney B. Vance as the leader of Simpson’s defense team, Johnnie Cochran.
