When “Fire and Reign” airs on FX, Michael (Cody Fern) will threaten to destroy everything Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) has worked to protect.

Check out the 4 things you can expect to see on “American Horror Story” Season 8, episode 9.

1. Michael Carries Out His Plan

In the “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” episode 9 promo video, Michael appears to be standing in Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies and reveals he has already warned Cordelia about what he planned to do to the witches. Cordelia is later seen falling to the floor after being overpowered by fire. In the previous episode, Michael promised to kill Cordelia and her coven after he discovered she executed Ms. Meade (Kathy Bates). Not only did the Supreme burn his mother figure at the stake, but she also put a curse on Ms. Meade’s soul so he would never be able to resurrect her. Although he had a slight set back after losing his support system, it appears Michael has recovered and will return with a vengeance.

2. The Beginning Of The Apocalypse

In the “American Horror Story” Season 8, episode 9, preview, Ms. Meade tells Michael it’s time for him to carry out what he was born to do. In the previous episode, Michael met two satan worshippers, Jeff (Evan Peters) and Mutt (Billy Eichner), who also happened to be tech geniuses. He was able to get the men to build a robotic version of Ms. Meade and program her with memories of Michael. When “Fire and Reign” airs, Ms. Meade and Michael will rekindle their mother-son bond and begin to put the apocalypse in motion.

3. The Origins Of The Cooperative

In the FX promo video, Venable (Paulson) questions Jeff about the Cooperative and he asks her if she has heard of the mover and shakers. Although several references have been made about the organization in the post-apocalyptic world, the identity of the members has remained unclear. However, it looks like the head of human resources will demand to know more about the mysterious organization.

4. Cordelia’s Health Worsens

In the “AHS” promo, Cordelia is seen having convulsions in bed as Myrtle (Francis Conroy) notes that something is happening. Mallory (Billie Lourd) has already passed the Seven Wonders and proved she is worthy to take over as Supreme. However, in order for the new Supreme to ascend, the old one must die. Cordelia’s health has been deteriorating ever since she allowed Michael to undergo the Seven Wonders but this time it looks like she may not recover from her latest health scare. Could this be the end for Cordelia?

“American Horror Story: Apocalypse” episode 9 airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
