American Horror Story: Apocalypse
Michael Langdon (Cody Fern) continues to carry out his evil destiny on “American Horror Story: Apocalypse,” episode 8. FX

Although Cordelia and her coven managed to uncover Michael’s darkest secrets, on “American Horror Story: Apocalypse,” episode 8, the witches will begin to realize they may have underestimated the spawn from “AHS: Murder House.”

When “Sojourn” airs on FX, Michael (Cody Fern) will lose all hope until two new characters give him the support he needs to wreak havoc once again.

Check out the 3 things you can expect to see on “American Horror Story” Season 8, episode 8.

1. Michael Feels Lost

In the “American Horror Story: Apocalypse,” episode 8 promo video, Michael acknowledges that he is the antichrist, but admits he has no idea what he is supposed to do. In the previous episode of the FX series, the witches’ counsel executed Ms. Meade (Kathy Bates), Baldwin (BD Wong) and Ariel (Jon Jon Briones), leaving Michael with no idea of how to proceed. Now that he no longer has his biggest supporters by his side, will he still be motivated to carry out the apocalypse?

2. Cordelia Thinks The Witches Have Won

Elsewhere in the “American Horror Story” Season 8, episode 8 preview, Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) tells Michael they have discovered who he truly is and announces his plans to destroy the world have failed because all of his allies are dead. After Cordelia sent Madison (Emma Roberts) and Behold (Billy Porter) to the Murder House, they discovered Michael’s evil origins and the extent of his powers. What Cordelia doesn’t know is that it’s going to take a lot more than burning Michael’s allies at the stake to stop him from ending the world.

3. Michael Gains More Followers

In the FX promo video, two characters played by Evan Peters and Billy Eichner dedicate their allegiance to Michael and ask how can they help him. Just when Michael begins to believe he has hit rock bottom and cannot carry out the task he was born to do, he finds two people willing to serve him. Considering “Sojourn” means a temporary stay, it appears the moment of weakness won’t last as long as Cordelia would have hoped. However, it doesn’t mean these new worshippers are the answer to all of his problems. How will Michael cause the apocalypse?

“American Horror Story: Apocalypse,” episode 8 will air on Wednesday at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
