The Tokyo Metropolis League begins and the first official match is against Seikyo High School in "Aoashi" Episode 11.

A lot is at stake for the first graders, including Ashito Aoi. Nozomi Date informs Aoi that he will be the starter next week. However, he wants Aoi to play, which will prove he has completed the assignment he set for him.

Date wants him to play like his life depends on it because if he fails to impress, he won't be fielded in a match for the next three months.

The Esperion B Team seems to be struggling as the players cannot coordinate with each other as expected, according to the official synopsis of "Aoashi" Episode 11. Even Aoi, who is the starter, cannot find answers to Date's task.

Taira Nakamura, who is unable to stand the situation where his subordinates are struggling, offers to replace the first-grade members.
