'Aoashi' Episode 9 Live Stream Details: How To Watch Online, Spoilers

Ashito is struggling to master a basic soccer movement and is getting frustrated in "Aoashi" Episode 9. The new episode is titled "A Broader Soccer."

The official website has unveiled the synopsis and spoiler stills of "Aoashi" Episode 9. Ashito is unable to master the stop-and-kick technique in soccer.

Togashi, who is in the same room, explains the true meaning of stop-and-kick to Ashito as he proceeds to practice the technique alone.

But Togashi's explanation is rather vague and Ashito is finding the night training a difficult task. They both irritate each other, but eventually, Ashito gets a hint of how the technique works by observing Togashi's movements in the game.

"The intrasquad game will determine who gets promoted to the A team. However, no one is passing the ball to Ashito, who is not able to communicate with his teammates through his soccer," read the official synopsis of "Aoashi" Episode 8, as per Crunchyroll. "He stands in the middle of the field, unable to do anything. Date says that Ashito lacks individual tactics to keep up with the constant change of play. Akutsu, a senior player who attacked Ashito at the tryouts, appears in front of him after the game."

The cast of the anime includes Junya Enoki as Yuma Motoki, Kentaro Kumagai as Ryuichi Takeshima, Kouki Ohsuzu as Ashito Aoi, Seiichiro Yamashita as Soichiro Tachibana, Shun Horie as Kanpei Kuroda, Taku Yashiro as Keiji Togashi, Tatsumaru Tachibana as Eisaku Ōtomo, Wataru Katō as Martis Jun Asari, Makoto Furukawa as Eita Takasugi, Mie Sonozaki as Noriko Aoi, Mikako Komatsu as Aoi Kaneko, Reina Ueda as Anri Kaidō, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Nagisa Akutsu, Yoshiki Nakajima as Shun Aoi and Yuichiro Umehara as Haruhisa Kuribayashi.

"Aoashi" anime is based on the original work by Yugo Kobayashi.

The anime's opening theme, "Mushin Hakusu," is performed by Alexandros. The closing theme song, titled "Blue Diary," is by Rinne.

"Aoashi" Episode 9 is set to air Saturday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode on Crunchyroll. The episode will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
