Apple added some new features for the Mail App in the the latest iOS 13 update. Both features and the layout of the whole app has been improved for iteration. These new features also neatly organizes the buttons and features to provide more space for the emails.

Quicker Use

The new Mail app has been streamlined with the new features introduced in the iOS 13 update. Attachments can now be directly sent to the Files app once the Share button and chose the Save to Files. The Mail app also an assortment of marker flags which allows its users to sort out mails more orderly.

Overall, the iOS 13 Mail app provides faster routes to manage and sort out emails faster.

Muting Threads

Muting email threads are also possible through swiping left on an email during the Threads view of the Mail app. The mute function allows Apple smartphone users to opt out of mails that could potentially interfere with its rapid activity on the phone update

Extended Reply Menu

The new reply button in the Mail app effectively holds all the email sending and management tools in a single menu. The usual Reply, Reply All, Archive, Forward, Move, Flag, and Delete options to emails can be found here.

Overall, the extended Reply menu holding all the mailing options allows the Apple device to allot all of its display to show the email’s contents.

Blocking Emails

Other than just deleting unwanted emails, the iOS 13 update also pushes the email blocking feature to Apple device owners. Mail app users will simply need to tap on the other user’s profile and the “Block this contact” option will be available on their banner.

New Desktop-Style Text Formatting

For smartphones and smart devices, the luxury of changing fonts and text sizes does not exist there. However, the iOS 13 update introduces this to the Mail app which allows users to style up their emails according to any requirements or simply their own style.

Downloading fonts , changing font style, size, and indentation will now be available for emails coming from iPhones and iPads.

While the new changes look impressive, iPhone and iPad users will have to confirm if their devices eligible for the iOS 13 update. Apple is known to slowly phase out its older models through opting them out of the newer operating system updates as the years pass by.
