Yesterday a couple of live images of the 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch 2018 iPhone models were leaked online. Today, the two upcoming Apple iPhones are showcased in new hands-on videos.

The hands-on videos was published online by Tiger Mobiles in collaboration with Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) on Twitter. It’s important to point out that the devices shown in the videos are dummies and not the actual handsets. However, these dummies are based on leaked schematics from Apple’s supply chain and should provide the most accurate look at the upcoming devices, as pointed out by 9To5Mac.

Both models of the 2018 iPhone feature notches on top of their displays. It also appears that both handsets have directly copied the design of last year’s iPhone X, with some differences. The 6.5-inch iPhone, which has been nicknamed the “iPhone X Plus,” features dual cameras on its back, but it comes with a bigger display that’s expected to be an OLED panel.

As for the 6.1-inch iPhone, the device only features a single camera on its back. The device is also expected to have an LCD display rather than an OLED one. The 6.1-inch model is said to be Apple’s most affordable iPhone model for 2018, which is why Apple had to ditch the OLED display and the secondary camera on the back.

Although the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone comes with the same design language as the iPhone X, it may have slightly thicker bezels. It’s quite difficult to say for certain in the hands-on videos, but previously leaked glass panels for the 6.1-inch model made it apparent that it will have slightly thicker bezels.

The 6.1-inch model is also believed to have an aluminum frame, while the 6.5-inch model may have a steel frame, as pointed out by MacRumors. The 6.1-inch LCD iPhone may have some compromises in the hardware department, but its big display and cheaper price tag should make it a popular product among consumers. The 6.1-inch 2018 LCD iPhone is rumored to cost somewhere between $600 and $700, while the 6.5-inch 2018 OLED iPhone might cost between $900 and $1,000.

The direct successor to the iPhone X is expected to arrive this year with the same 5.8-inch OLED display. Unlike its predecessor, the 2018 model might actually be cheaper. The 5.8-inch 2018 iPhone might cost somewhere between $800 and $900. For comparison, the original iPhone X arrived last year with a starting price of $999.

Apple’s trio 2018 iPhone models are expected to be announced this September and be available to purchase soon afterwards. However, a popular rumor is going around that the 6.1-inch LCD model might be delayed to an October release date.
