Tom Holland and Zendaya may have never confirmed that they are a couple, but fans are convinced that they are dating.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that the connection between the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” co-stars is still strong. However, Holland and Zendaya have decided to keep their relationship under the radar for privacy reasons.

Another source told US Weekly that Holland and Zendaya’s relationship is going strong. In fact, the actor has already met his girlfriend’s parents, and they love him.

Reports about Holland and Zendaya dating have existed since July after they starred in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” But one month later, the Disney Channel star told Variety that they are just friends. Zendaya even called Holland her “best friend.”

“He’s a great dude. He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how many months we’ve had to do press tours together. There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old,” she said.

Zendaya also said during another interview with Entertainment Tonight that she’s not surprised that she and Holland are being linked to each other. “It happens all the time and of course we expected it. I mean, it comes with the territory. It comes with the job, so it’s all good,” she said.

In June, Zendaya even interviewed Holland as part of a feature on Interview magazine, but the co-stars kept their discussion professional.

Zendaya asked Holland, on behalf of all his curious fans, if he intends to keep acting until he’s old. The actor said that he also wants to pursue a career in directing. Zendaya praised Holland for his creativity and said that he really has the mind of a director.

“It’s cool you want to be a director. When I’m on set with you, you have a very director-like mind. You’re always coming up with ideas and being as involved as possible,” she said.

“I like directing because I like working with actors so much. I’d like to be a director who gives my actors complete freedom will collaborating with them to find performances,” he explained.

Holland and Zendaya will both return for the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” sequel in 2019.
