Ariana Grande is the newest coach on "The Voice," joining the ranks of John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton and she's definitely not playing by the rules. During "The Kelly Clarkson" show on Monday, Grande admitted to having "broken every rule in her contract."

While talking to Clarkson, the 28-year-old Grammy-winning singer gushed about her team and revealed she's in love with all the contestants.

"I just love seeing the talent that's on the show and getting to know these artists and work with them, it's just like a really special experience to be able to share some of what we've learned and been able to do in our lives with these artists that are just wanting to do the same thing. It's a really special opportunity to be able to share that with people. To be in that position is really interesting," the pop star explained.

The "Seven Rings" singer went on to admit she has indeed "broken" some of the rules from her contract.

"I'm obsessed with my team," Grande said. "I talk to them all the time. I've broken every rule in my contract. I'm like, DM-ing [my team]. They're like, 'You're not supposed to do that.' And I'm like, 'Sorry!'"

According to her contract, she is not supposed to do so until the start of the live rounds.

Clarkson added that the first-time coach is always "sending stuff to the hotel" for her team. She also complimented Grande's sense of humor.

"She's so funny, very quick-witted," the host said about Grande.

"I didn't know this about you," Clarkson then told Grande. "I knew you were talented, I knew you'd be a great coach, I knew all those things, but I didn't know how funny you were because we never really hung much."

"We only see you performing," the host continued. "But you're hilarious. And I thought it was so interesting because usually it takes coaches that come on ... a minute to get used to being free with their words and their personality. It was like the second or third day of the [blind auditions], and you were like, 'I'm here.' It was awesome."

Talking about her fellow coaches, Grande admitted it was "a little nerve-wracking" to join the show at first, but her fellow coaches made her "feel so comfortable."

"[They] are the nicest people that I've met in this whole thing," she said. "Like, the most fun ever. You made me feel so comfortable ... Also, Blake was pushing all the buttons. It's helpful!"

On the premiere of "The Voice" Season 21, Grande debuted her "Thank U, Next" button to cut off Legend while he was making his pitch to contestant Katie Rae Mortimer. Grande's hit song blasted through the soundstage and all Legend could say was, "It would be an honor." In the end, Grande was able to get the contestant as the first member of her team.
