Players of "Assassin’s Creed Odyssey" will have a great time as Ubisoft is set to release the first part of "The Fate of Atlantis" DLC later this month.

Game company Ubisoft has announced that “Fields of Elysium” will be available for download starting April 23. This is the first episode to "The Fate of Atlantis" DLC and will be followed by episode two, “Torment of Hades,” and episode three, “Judgment of Atlantis,” later this year.

"Fields of Elysium" introduces new ability enhancements for the Hunter, Warrior and Assassin skill trees, Games Radar reported. These enhancements -- Ares Bull Charge, Might of Artemis, Kronos Time Warp, and Ares Madness -- are the first of many enhancements players will receive over the three episodes

How to enter Atlantis

Players who want to bring their existing character to "Fate of Atlantis" will need to do several things. They will need to clear the “Between Two Worlds” questline, the main game story arc, the “Heir of Memories,” and the “Lost Tales of Greece” quests. Lastly, they would need to have reached at least level 28 and higher.

Ubisoft has also created a shortcut for those who were unable to do all of these, or at least don’t want to, but want to play the "Fate of Atlantis," Destructoid reported. This shortcut allows players to choose a hero they like and enter Greece at level 52, with preset abilities and resources needed for the “Heir of Memories” questline.

But there’s a downside to this shortcut. No matter how well players do in the "Fate of Atlantis," they won’t be able to obtain any achievements. In addition, they won’t be able to carry over their player progression to the main game.

Greek Mythology

The "Fate of Atlantis" features heavy Greek Mythology. As seen in the trailer below, players will journey through mythical worlds and encounter mythical characters such as Hades, and beasts such as the three-headed guard dog, Cerberus.

The "Fate of Atlantis" is included in the season pass, which is available for $39.99. The DLC itself is available for separate purchase for $24.99, but needs the base "Assassin's Creed Odyssey" game to be played.
