  • "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is getting its first DLC on May 7
  • The DLC is titled Wrath of the Druids
  • Ubisoft released a minor update to prepare the game for the upcoming DLC

The rumored third "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Meteor DLC could be a major expansion if the latest leaked codes are not baseless.

Rumors about "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Meteor started when a 4Chan user shared an info dump on the site, alleging Ubisoft would reveal its plans for Meteor on June 12. The announcement would reportedly happen at the rumored Ubisoft Forward presentation. YouTuber and reliable Ubisoft insider xj0nathan revealed earlier about a file concealed in the code labeled Meteor.

It is tucked away alongside a couple of unconfirmed "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" DLCs with similar filename conventions. At that time, it was pretty much all that was known about the leak. Interestingly, new pieces of evidence seemingly confirmed the existence of the content and offered more details. The Ubisoft insider has now shared some codes showing details on what looks like stages of a quest.

This potential in-game quest reportedly starts after something falls from the sky. The quest is reportedly titled "A Challenge from the Gods," seemingly indicating that Eivor would cross paths with a mysterious old lady. This lady would reportedly offer the game's main protagonist some secret training tips.

Furthermore, Eivor would be required to investigate the site of the crash. Apparently, details about the crash site and something falling from the sky suggest a potential link to the rumored "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Meteor DLC. But while it does not directly mention the word Meteor, it further triggers more questions than offering answers to the mysteries surrounding the rumor.

Aside from its announcement details, the 4Chan post earlier revealed that Ubisoft plans to release "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Meteor DLC sometime in the early part of 2022. Meanwhile, the gaming studio released the title update 1.2.1 recently. It offers minor fixes and improvements to the game and some new features to prepare gamers for the arrival of the Wrath of the Druids DLC.

This includes a new toggle that allows players to switch off kill animations and three new skills. The "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Wrath of the Druids DLC is rumored to launch on May 7 and could feature a new enemy -- a werewolf.
