  • New leaked images reveal details about "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Wrath of the Druids

The first major game expansion of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," Wrath of the Druids DLC, supposedly releasing on April 29, has been delayed again. Despite that, fans still have a lot to look forward to from the DLC amid new promotional images surfacing online, including a new kind of enemy.

New Enemy Teased

The new set of images revealing details about "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Wrath of the Druids DLC was first shared on Twitter by Aggiornamenti Lumia. It was later picked up by other fans in the community. Three images confirm that the DLC is set in old Ireland, with some of them showing members of the infamous Children of Danu cult. Interestingly, another image reveals Eivor and other cult members fighting off a creature that resembles a lot like a werewolf.

The image also underlines the possibility that at some point, the main protagonist of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" will have to work with some members of the Children of Danu. The presence of a new werewolf enemy in the game, if true, highlights how the latest "AC" installment delves deeply into the lore. Werewolves are within the scope of Irish mythology, particularly in the medieval Irish Kingdom of Ossory. However, it is also possible that the image could just be a product of Eivor's dream, imagination, or hallucination.
