  • "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is set to arrive on November 17
  • The upcoming title from Ubisoft launches on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4
  • "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is set to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X too

A new set of “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” mission details were recently revealed by its ESRB rating. This information was confirmed in the rating’s summary of the upcoming title from Ubisoft, according to a new report. Although most fans already know the level of violence and the brutal combat of the game, it looks like one of its missions will happen in an unusual place.

Ubisoft’s upcoming title received an M (Mature) rating from the official regulatory body. The ESRB summary offers more details about what players could expect from “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.” The description confirms that combat is highlighted by frequent blood splatter effects and screams of pain.

Additionally, it also reveals that some weapons enable players to decapitate villains. Moreover, the summary notes that “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” comes with zoomed-in sequences depicting organs, bones and muscles getting damaged by the player’s weapon. Interestingly, Wccftech reported that the upcoming title “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” would feature magic mushrooms of some kind.

This said feature would allegedly cause screen discoloration and distortion, according to the report, which based its information on the game’s recent ESRB rating. Several sequences showed an impaired player’s movements after their character consumed mushrooms or inhaled its fumes, the report explained.

Apart from this, the rating also mentioned that the title would come with some sexual material. One of “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s” missions would take place in a brothel. There are “topless women, a character agreeing to “lay with” a man (kissing is depicted before the scene fades to black).” Considering that “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” was built on the foundation paved by “AC: Odyssey” and “AC Origins,” it would definitely feature choices that will have an impact on the world.

There are sagas or territories in the game where the player’s choices will matter a lot, the report shared. For instance, if a player kills someone in “Assassin’s Creed valhalla,” will he take power? Who will have the power after that?

Ubisoft earlier announced that “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” would launch on November 17. The open-world RPG will be available to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms worldwide. The game is also launching on next-generation gaming consoles’ PS5 and Xbox Series X. However, Ubisoft has not yet confirmed the game’s release date on next-gen gaming consoles.
