“Aurora Teagarden” month continues on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Sunday with the premiere of “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: An Inheritance to Die For,” the second of three new installments of the franchise airing this August.

Candace Cameron Bure is, of course, back as the titular character, while her co-star Niall Matter also returns for the new movie as college professor Nick Miller.

Directed by Michael Robison, the new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries flick sees Aurora’s mom become a possible suspect when a family friend is murdered.

“Sally Allison’s (Lexa Doig) aunt is poisoned during a family wedding reception and Aurora Teagarden (Bure) vows to get to the bottom of the crime, especially when her mother, a friend of the dead woman, stands to inherit the bulk of the massive estate,” the synopsis reveals. “With help from her new beau Nick (Matter) and her Real Murders Club regulars, Roe won’t stop until she brings the killer to justice…or dies trying.”

Along with Bure, Matter and Doig, Marilu Henner (Aida Teagarden) and Peter Benson (Detective Arthur Smith) also reprise their roles for the newest movie in the franchise.
