‘Avengers: Endgame,’ BTS Win Big At The 2020 Kids' Choice Awards

The winners of the 2020 Kids’ Choice Awards have been announced, and some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry were recognized. Marvel’s "Avengers: Endgame,” Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” BTS, and Billie Eilish turned out to be the biggest winners of the night as they triumphed in their respective categories.

“Avengers: Endgame” took home the Favourite Movie award while Tom Holland was awarded the Favorite Superhero trophy.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, “Endgame” is the highest-grossing movie of all time after edging out James Cameron’s “Avatar” to claim the numero uno position. Other films that were nominated in the category were “Captain Marvel,” “Aladdin,” “Jumanji: The Next Level,” “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” and “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.”

Meanwhile, Holland defeated Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Scarlett Johansson, and Robert Downey Jr. to claim the award.

Dove Cameron won the Best Actress trophy for “Descendants 3” while Dwayne Johnson was adjudged Best Actor for “Hobbs And Shaw” and “Jumanji: The Next Level.”

Disney’s “Frozen 2” was named the Best Animated Feature.

On the Television side, Netflix’ “Stranger Things” picked up a victory in the Favorite Family TV Show category. Millie Bobby Brown, who portrays Eleven on the blockbuster show, was chosen as the Favorite Female TV Star.

“SpongeBob: Squarepants,” Ellen DeGeneres, and America’s Got Talent also won in their respective categories.

In the field of Music, it was Ariana Grande and Shawn Mendes who won the Favorite Female and Male Artists. Grande was nominated alongside the likes of Beyonce, Eilish, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift.

Meanwhile, South Korean band BTS beat Fall Out Boy, Maroon 5, Panic! At The Disco, Jonas Brothers, and The Chainsmokers in the Favorite Music Group category.
