“Bachelor” alum Ben Higgins and his fiancée Jessica Clarke shared some details about their upcoming wedding.

Another dream Bachelor Nation wedding is happening soon because Higgins will be tying the knot with Clarke. However, the couple is still in the early stages of planning their wedding.

Higgins was recently asked if Bachelor Nation host Chris Harrison would be playing an important role in the ceremony. Harrison could officiate the wedding, but he could also simply attend as a guest to enjoy the event.

“We don’t know. We haven’t even discussed it, I don’t think, I don’t think he’s joked about it,” Higgins told Us Weekly.

“I would assume he’ll be a guest because I want him to enjoy it. Like I want him to feel the freedom to be a friend of mine because he has been forever.”

Although Higgins was considering having Harrison as a guest, he admitted that they are also not closing the doors at the thought of Harrison officiating their wedding.

“But who knows, it could happen. We honestly haven’t even gotten close to those details,” the former “Bachelor” star continued.

Higgins’ fiancée added that they are having a hard time planning their wedding. But they are glad that they are still in the early stages because there are many couples who had to cancel their big day or alter their dream wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We’re lucky we didn’t have anything planned that had to get pushed back or canceled. I know a lot of people did. So we’re in a great situation and we just, kind of, have to be patient at this point,” Clarke said.

Although they are still in the beginning stage of planning, there are already “non-negotiables” on Clarke’s list.

“All I want is our reception to be in a huge tent with like the twinkly lights. That’s the only dream I’ve ever had of a wedding,” she shared.

During Higgins’ stint on “The Bachelor,” he was torn between Lauren Bushnell and Jojo Fletcher. He ended up proposing to Bushnell in 2016.

The then-couple even scored a spin-off show titled “Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After.” In 2017, they were very excited while preparing for their nuptials. However, Higgins suddenly called off their wedding.

Bushnell remained supportive of him. At the time, Higgins said although their big day was delayed, he still wanted to marry her.

In May 2017, Higgins and Bushnell issued a joint statement to announce their separation. Harrison reacted after learning about it saying, “I did not see that coming.”

Higgins and Clarke started dating in late 2018. The reality star then confirmed their relationship in January 2019.
