Priyanka Chopra is all praise for the cast of her recent Netflix release, "The White Tiger," which received two nominations for the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

She took to Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate the news. "What a proud moment for Indian talent with 2 BAFTA nominations for an ALL INDIAN STAR CAST!! Ecstatic for you @gouravadarsh, you are so deserving of this recognition, and congratulations #RaminBahrani, so well deserved," she wrote along with a screenshot of the nominations.

"I feel extremely proud to have been an executive producer on this movie! Let's get it!!" she added.

Indian actor Adarsh Gourav, who portrayed the lead character in the movie, has been nominated in the best leading actor category, along with late Chadwick Boseman for "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom," Riz Ahmed for "Sound Of Metal," Tahar Rahim for "The Mauritanian," and Anthony Hopkins for "The Father."

Director Ramin Bahrani also earned a nomination in the best-adapted screenplay category. Gourav, 26, also took to Instagram to express his excitement following the nomination announcement.

"Thank you Ramin for trusting me to play the character that has given me more than anything I've ever experienced," he wrote. "Congratulations to the team for two BAFTA nominations!! Best adapted screenplay and Leading actor."

He also congratulated all fellow nominees.

The movie is a cinematic adaptation of Indian writer Aravind Adiga's bestselling novel by the same name and it revolves around Gourav's character, named Balram Halwai, who is a poor village boy. With his cunning and street-smart nature, the character escapes poverty. The crime drama also featured Indian actor Rajkummar Rao.

The BAFTA Awards 2021 is scheduled to take place on April 11 at Royal Albert Hall, London. Chopra has already arrived in London with her husband Nick Jonas. The actress revealed on Sunday that she was spending family time in London.

Jonas has also shared a family picture on Instagram featuring Chopra and said they have taken all the safety measures considering the coronavirus pandemic. "After isolating and testing I'm so happy to finally have some family time!" he wrote.

Chopra will be seen later this year opposite Keanu Reeves in "The Matrix 4." She will also be launching an Indian restaurant, named SONA, in New York later this month.
