Fasten your seat belts -- er, harnesses -- because BCBG MAXAZRIA went boudoir bondage. Designers Max and Lubov Azria channeled "50 Shades of Grey" with their Spring 2013 collection, and not just with the color palette. Their theme, "Une Femme Dangereuse" which translates into "A Dangerous Woman," was evident in their suggestive, feminine creations sent down the runway in the theatre Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, each look complete with leather harnesses, BDSM-style.

Inspired by photographer Helmut Newton who was known for his provocative photography of erotica and sadomasochism, the Spring 2013 collection strayed from the designer couple's poppy color block minimalism from last season and channeled sensuality in theme without showing too much skin; No high hemlines and low necklines here. The allure of removable harnesses gave off an evident subtext of fetishism when topped on the ethereally-designed, flowy crepe dresses in black, white and cream. According to the designers, the addition of the bondage was not only for juxtaposition but to make the entire Spring 2013 collection transitionable. Think naughty and nice.

Could it be possible they drank E.L. James's Kool-Aid? Or has the BCBG designer couple evolved its eroticism?
