Looks like “The Biggest Loser” is losing more than just body fat. According to reports, many fans of the NBC reality show have become quite disturbed after season 15 winner Rachel Frederickson debuted her final -- and shocking -- weight loss during the series finale. The 5-foot-4-inch beauty, who started the show at 260 pounds, left fans dumbfounded when she revealed how much weight she had lost.

“I was stunned,” Bob Harper, who has been a trainer on “The Biggest Loser” since 2004, said. “We’ve never had a contestant at 105 pounds.” That weight actually puts Frederickson below normal on the healthy-body-mass index, according to the National Institute of Health.

Critics of the show want NBC to make sure no future contestant ever sinks below "healthy" stature. And rumors have begun to circulate about a “tweak” in the upcoming season that would prevent such a situation.

“There might be more focus on what happens to the winner after they are supposedly done with the show,” said a source tied to the series. Although NBC declined to comment, we have a feeling the network would push for a spinoff or new rule regulations to appease their viewers.

According to reports, NBC wasn’t prepared for this situation, considering most past contestants have actually gained weight after leaving “The Biggest Loser” ranch. With no supervision or monitoring, contestants tend to fall back into old habits. But not Frederickson! After her appearance on season 15, the winner kept up with her trainer’s program. Dolvett Quince even came to his client’s defense regarding her dramatic weight loss on Facebook: “Biggest Loser is a journey which has its ups and downs. Please try not to look at one slice of Rachel’s journey and come to broad conclusions. Rachel’s health is, and always has been, my main concern and her journey to good health has not yet ended!!”

Does that mean Quince plans to bulk Frederickson up a little? Sound off in the comments section below whether you think “The Biggest Loser” needs to make some changes to its program.
