'Black Clover' Chapter 268 Spoilers, Scans: Anti Magic Devil’s Past

The mysterious woman who appears toward the end of the last chapter will resurface in the new installment. "Black Clover" Chapter 268 spoilers and scans are available hinting Anti Magic Devil's backstory.

Reddit user KamikazeMender shared the spoilers for "Black Clover" Chapter 268. Anti Magic Devil's origin story shows that he is an outcast in the village. Later, a kind woman finds him in a terrible state and takes him in.

She raises the devil, but one day, Lucifero takes over his body. In "Black Clover" Chapter 268, the woman tries to stop Lucifero. But Anti Magic Devil, who is possessed by Lucifero, ends up stabbing her.

Despite her injuries, she manages to stop Lucifero and in order to protect the Anti Magic Devil, she seals him inside the grimoire. The woman assures Anti Magic Devil that one day he will emerge out of the grimoire with greater powers.

The chapter is likely to conclude with Anti Magic Devil getting ready to battle Asta.

In the previous chapter, Asta sees his devil for real. Asta thanks him for saving his life over and over again. However, the devil thinks Asta has lost it. He announces that he has appeared to kill Asta.

The devil calls forth the Demon Slayer Sword from Asta's grimoire and attacks him. He declares that this time he will take over Asta's body.

In the meantime, Nacht reminds Asta that he has to defeat the devil or he ends up with the skulls in the chamber.

If Asta wins the battle against the devil, the former will become stronger. Moreover, he will be ready for the upcoming mission to raid the Spade Kingdom. Asta asks Nacht if the Devil-Binding Ritual is forbidden, they should not be attempting it in the first place. Nacht reminds him that they only have two days to train him and he cannot get stronger in that time frame by conventional methods.
