Black Friday is nearly here, which means there will be dozens of enticing video game deals across the biggest retailers. Tech enthusiasts have a great opportunity to advantage of some of the shopping bargains.

Specifically, current or prospective Xbox One owners have plenty of big discounts to look forward to, both in terms of games and consoles.

Snag An Xbox One X Or Xbox One S At A Heavy Discount

Those who want to get in on the Xbox One ecosystem for the first time or make an upgrade are in luck. Microsoft’s two Xbox One variants will get significant discounts on Black Friday.

The Xbox One X, which is normally priced at $500 and offers better visuals and 4K resolution support, will be available at Walmart at $399. That only applies to the 1TB model that does not come bundled with a game; all other Xbox One X bundles will be $70 off at Walmart, according to the retailer’s Black Friday advertisement.

Best Buy will carry the Xbox One X bundled with “Battlefield V” for $429, a discount of $70.

Meanwhile, Walmart will sell the 1TB Xbox One S, bundled with “Minecraft,” for $199. It's a major discount considering it usually retails for $299. Any other Xbox One S bundle will cost $229. Best Buy will carry the same “Minecraft” bundle for the same price, starting on Nov. 18.

Amazon will sell the Xbox One S bundled with “NBA 2K19” for $258, a savings of a little more than $40.

Steep discounts on new, or nearly new, games

There are game discounts aplenty for Xbox One owners this Black Friday. Big name titles like “NBA 2K19” and “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” will be $30 at Best Buy. Slightly older games like “Far Cry 5” and “Assassin’s Creed Origins” will only be $20.

Target is offering similar discounts, but adding some of its own, such as “Star Wars Battlefront II” and “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” for $15 each. Walmart’s Black Friday advertisement says it will have the Xbox versions of popular games like “Rainbow Six: Siege” and “Destiny 2” for $17 each.
