  • Her fans took to Twitter and demanded more promotional activities for "Lalisa"
  • "Lalisa" garnered 5M listeners on Spotify since its release on Sept. 10

Blackpink's Lisa will launch a performance video for her solo second track, “Money,” from her debut “Lalisa” released this month.

The 24-year-old singer released a teaser poster of “Money” on her Instagram story and on Blackpink’s Twitter account on Sunday.

The teaser poster said the exclusive performance video of "Money" will be released Wednesday at 11 a.m. EST.

“Money” is the B-side track from "Lalisa." It was composed by Bekuh Boom and Vince and R. Tee and 24 arranged the track.

On Sept. 12, Lisa released a dance performance video of “Lalisa” on Youtube which has now reached over 26 million views.

Meanwhile, the official music video for “Lalisa” has already been viewed over 179 million times after its release on Sept. 10.

In an online press conference, a few hours before her solo album was released, Lisa revealed why she chose “Lalisa” as her album’s name.

“I wanted to show the coolest side of myself through the album. I wanted to show myself, Lalisa, exactly as I am, which is why I ended up using this title.”

Meanwhile, Lisa became a trending topic on Twitter anew as fans demanded more promotional activities for “Lalisa.”

Some fans of the “How You Like That” singer believe that she is not given enough media exposure to promote her album. Fans also noticed that Lisa did not appear in any variety show during the first week of the launch of her album.

“First week (most crucial week for a music project) passed with no music shows variety show for Lisa. Inkigayo stage is her only stage on a music show during her solo era. Someone’s song was put into “Lalisa” album on Spotify & Amazon. More promotions for Lisa @ygent_official,” a user commented tagging YG Entertainment, the management agency of Lisa.

Blinks (fandom name for Blackpink fans) first became concerned when a short clip of Lisa saying she has no idea about the upcoming promotional schedules was posted on Twitter.

“OP asked about the broadcasting activities after this and Lisa said they are talking about it but she doesn’t know,” a fan commented.

Despite the lack of promotional activities, “Lalisa” managed to get 5 million listeners on Spotify after its release as shown in this tweet.

“Lisa did that 5M listeners in Spotify in 2 weeks see @ygent_official,” Twitter user @bellakrystyle22 said.
