Former co-stars and forever friends Bob Saget and Ashley Olsen reunited on Tuesday night in New York City at a Scleroderma Research Foundation fundraiser, but that doesn’t mean “Fuller House” fans should expect an Olsen twin appearance on the Netflix series anytime soon.

Saget is currently on the Board of Directors for the foundation and has been a part of the organization and its events for many years now, which Olsen has always been very supportive of.

Scleroderma is an, as of now, incurable autoimmune disease that has personally affected Saget and his family, though his involvement with the research foundation began prior to his family’s experience with the disease. Though that, of course, increased his desire to help raise money and awareness for the cause.

One of the large ways the Scleroderma Research Foundation raises money is with its signature fundraiser, Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine, which it held at Carolines on Broadway on Tuesday. Saget hosted the fundraiser and comedians George Lopez and John Oliver appeared as special guests. Olsen attended the event to support her fellow “Full House” alum, as she has for many years.

“So honored my dear friend Ashley Olsen came to support my Scleroderma Research Foundation @SRFcure Event as she has all these years,” Saget captioned a photo of the two of them at the event with Oliver. “And here we share a photo with my friend John Oliver, once again generously hilariously performing at #CoolComedyHotCuisine - Thank you for your support, John and Ashley!”

Olsen also attended the event in 2015 with another “Full House” alum, Candace Cameron Bure. She attended solo in 2014 and in 2009 and 2010 with her twin sister, Mary-Kate Olsen.

With Saget and Ashley still such great friends after all these years, is there a chance she’ll be returning to the sitcom where she got her start and be a part of the Netflix spinoff, “Fuller House?”

She and her sister have yet to be on the series, though the rest of the original cast has returned at one point or another, making this the perfect time for them to do so.

While there is no news yet on her making a guest appearance on the series, the show is about to hit Netflix on Dec. 22 with the second part of its third season, which means it’s almost time for Season 4 to start filming, should the show be renewed.

A new season is a great opportunity for Ashley, and Mary-Kate, to hop on the show, even if it’s just for a small scene.

For now, fans will just have to appreciate this real-life reunion between the stars while they continue to hope for an on-screen one.

“Fuller House” Season 3B debuts on Netflix on Dec. 22.
