Steffy and Liam on 'The Bold and the Beautiful'
Liam (Scott Clifton) warns Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about Bill’s (Don Diamont, not pictured) role in the Spectra debacle on the May 9, 2017 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.” CBS

None of them can fully understand how Sally could go through with the plot to steal Forrester’s designs, but now, some answers will be given after Liam uncovers the truth about Bill’s role in the situation on the Tuesday, May 9 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Liam (Scott Clifton) finally realized that Bill (Don Diamont) played a role in Spectra’s eventual decision to rip off Forrester Designs and pass them off as their own. After getting cagey answers from Wyatt (Darin Brooks) to his questions on the CBS soap, Liam finally got all the information he needed about Bill’s fake negative review of Sally’s (Courtney Hope) designs from Jarrett (Andrew Maxwell). Now, with this information in hand, he will go to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and let her know, in the hopes it may spare Sally and Spectra the heartache of having to close their business because they were manipulated into doing the wrong thing.

“I believe that my dad is responsible for setting Sally on the path to being a knock-off shop,” he says.

However, Steffy is fuming because Thomas (Pierson Fode) also acted on Sally’s behalf when she went for a pre-trial deposition to hear how she could potentially be punished for her crimes. Thomas testified on her behalf, which eventually led to Forrester dropping criminal charges for Industrial espionage. Those charges being dropped also meant that Sally would no longer face any jail time, since she wasn’t being criminally charged any longer. Forrester was still suing for damages, and that would be the end of Spectra completely, but Steffy is still annoyed that her brother’s love for the enemy led to a change in the proceedings. As a result, she will still fume to Liam about Sally, and reply that she doesn’t care if Sally is actually somewhat more innocent than she seems, because all that matters is that she stay out of Thomas’ life for good.

“That woman has no redeeming value whatsoever, and I want her out of Thomas’ life,” she says.

However, Steffy’s hopes that Sally will no longer be involved with Thomas may wind up coming true. As her family works to pack up their offices and leave the Spectra building behind for good, she will also reveal that she has some very specific plans when it comes to her future. Though she tried to make it in Los Angeles, she knows she failed and will never be able to make it there. As a result, she plans to leave the city behind, and if she does, it will mean that she’ll be gone, and Thomas will have no choice but to move on from her.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
