The drama with the making of Bond 25 does not seem to stop anytime soon. First Daniel Craig refused to continue starring in the Bond series, and now the production for the upcoming movie has reportedly been suspended.

The star of the movie, Craig, has injured his ankle during the filming of Bond 25 in Jamaica.

As reported by The Sun, the 51-year-old actor hurt his ankle and has now been flown to the U.S. for treatment. Now the further filming for the movie, which was scheduled for the weekend at Pinewood Studios in London, stands canceled.

A source further spoke to the publication about the incident, saying Daniel was suited and booted for one of the last scenes in Jamaica. He was sprinting during filming when he slipped and fell "quite awkwardly.”

The insider added, according to the report: “He was in quite a lot of pain and was complaining about his ankle.

The incident obviously did cause a lot of pain to the actor, but as per the source, the English actor was more agitated about the fall, and how it would affect the filming.

“As you’d expect he was also pretty angry that it had happened. He threw his suit jacket on the ground in sheer frustration. Daniel flew out of Jamaica for the U.S. and has already seen a specialist,” the source was quoted as saying.

Coincidently Craig is being treated by the same surgeon who treated Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane, and he is hoping to get back on the set soon, to avoid any further delay in the filming.

Well, this isn’t Craig’s first injury on the set of a Bond movie. Back in 2006 while he was filming for Casino Royale, the 51-year-old actor had his two teeth knocked out, then on the sets of Quantum of Solace in 2008 he lost a fingertip, and finally, in 2015, he hurt his knee while filming for Spectre.

And given the fact that the Bond series is an action movie series, such unfortunate incidents are bound to happen, irrespective of how many safety measures the makers take.

Let's just wish Daniel Craig a speedy recovery and his quick return on the sets of Bond 25, since the movie has already faced a lot of delays, with constant changes in the screenplay, then Danny Boyle unexpectedly dropping out of the film, due to creative differences.
