Kate Middleton may never surpass Princess Diana because she is boring and not very intelligent, according to some royal fans.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans weighed in on the question of whether or not they think the Duchess of Cambridge will ever be able to surpass the Princess of Wales in terms of popularity and her position in the royal family.

Amy Santos said that it seems this won’t happen because as early as now, the public is already fed up with the mom of three. One of the reasons behind this is because Middleton is not doing much to help the British monarchy.

“What’s weird is that she was dating William for a good 7 to 10 years and now married for 5 but she is still struggling. Makes no sense, she had much more time, freedom, space and was older than Diana when she got married,” Santos wrote.

Suzanne McGee, a financial journalist, said that it is important to remember that Middleton and Princess Diana are two different people, with two varying roles and responsibilities.

But at the end of the day, McGee said that Middleton may have already surpassed Princess Diana in the sense that she has maintained her relationship with Prince William, whereas Princess Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles failed.

Thomas Dalton said that Middleton has not yet surpassed Princess Diana, but it is possible for her to do so later on.

“Wait and see what happens once the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children are all at school and the Duchess has more time to devote to public work – until then, there is no way to know whether she will surpass Diana,” he said.

Princess Diana did not have the chance to meet Middleton because she passed away in 1997. Middleton and Prince William started dating when they were still in college, and they tied the knot in 2011. The couple welcomed their first child in 2013, which was followed by two others in 2015 and 2018.
