  • Brad Pitt struggled with his popularity in the '90s.
  • The dad of six resorted to smoking weed.
  • Brad Pitt no longer wants to imprison himself.

Brad Pitt recently talked about his life and popularity in the ‘90s and said that he was uncomfortable with it.

While speaking with The New York Times, the dad of six revealed that he spent most of his days back then hiding out and smoking pot. But years later, he realized that he was imprisoning himself and had a change of heart.

“Now I go out and live life, and generally people are pretty cool,” he said.

During the same interview, the award-winning actor finally weighed in on the rumors surrounding his dating life. Last month, he was linked to “Arrested Development” star Alia Shawkat after they were photographed hanging out together with their common friends.

Pitt was also linked to a slew of women since he divorced Angelina Jolie three years ago. There were also claims that he and his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, have gotten back together.

But the actor’s calculated response could finally put an end to all of the ongoing speculations. He said that he has not been seeking out women to date, but he’s not also avoiding it on purpose.

“I don’t know how many women they’ve said I’ve been dating the last two or three years, and none of it’s true - I just flashed on something, but maybe it doesn’t mean anything,” he said.

Jolie and Pitt’s divorce hasn’t been finalized, but the former couple has already reached an agreement over their six children. The “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” star has custody of their kids, but Pitt has been spending time with them regularly.

During her interview with Madame Figaro, Jolie said that she didn’t recognize herself anymore during her divorce from Pitt. The actress also felt smaller and almost insignificant during that time. The split made the actress feel genuinely sad and hurt.

But over the years, Jolie has become better and she has also slowly sealed from the end of her marriage to Pitt.
