Britney Spears' dad has slammed the "conspiracy theorists" who support the #FreeBritney movement amid speculation surrounding the singer’s long-running conservatorship.

Britney's father, Jamie Spears, has had enough of fans painting him as a villain and claiming that the pop star is a prisoner in a gilded cage. After being described as a cruel and opportunistic father, the 68-year-old fired back, saying that the #FreeBritney movement is "a joke."

"All these conspiracy theorists don’t know anything. The world don’t have a clue," he told New York Post’s Page Six on Saturday. "It’s up to the court of California to decide what’s best for my daughter. It’s no one else’s business."

Jamie claimed that this "conspiracy theory" has even led to people being stalked and sent death threats. He called for supporters to stop interfering with what he says is a family matter, saying he loves Britney and only wants the best for her.

"People are being stalked and targeted with death threats. It’s horrible. We don’t want those kinds of fans," Jamie said.

"I love my daughter. I love all my kids. But this is our business. It’s private," he added.

The pop star's dad also shut down allegations that he or anyone else is skimming money off the top of Britney's estate, explaining that he reports all expenses made to the court.

"I have to report every nickel and dime spent to the court every year," Jamie said. "How the hell would I steal something?"

One of Britney's fans started the #FreeBritney petition last year calling for the rest of her supporters to back the singer in gaining her freedom over all areas of her life, from her finances to decision-making.

"It’s time she takes back control of her life and gets rid of all those manipulative, controlling, deceiving, money hungry & malicious people that are under her," the petition read.

The petition makes several allegations against Britney's father, including not letting the singer vote, drive and spend her own money.

"The goal of this petition is to get that C-ship investigated for abuse and ultimately terminated so Britney can finally be free and live her best life," the description continued. "Her father doesn’t allow her to drive, all of her calls & messages are monitored, she’s not allowed to vote, hang with anyone or spend her money without permission. And if she breaks a 'rule' he threatens to have her kids taken away!"
