Bruce Jenner’s highly anticipated and hyped sit-down with ABC’s Diane Sawyer airs Friday night. While many details of the interview are under wraps, it is believed the former Olympian will use "Bruce Jenner: The Interview" to officially come out as transgender.

The Diane Sawyer interview special will air Friday, April 24, at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC. The description for the two-hour talk simply states that Sawyer will "chat" with the onetime "world's greatest athlete" about his life and career. It is widely believed that topics such as Jenner's rumored plastic surgeries, this journey's affect on his children and former spouse, as well as details of his gender transition will be discussed. Promotional videos, released by ABC, have neither confirmed nor ruled out any rumors surrounding the Kardashian patriarch.

Although very few details are known about what exactly will come up during “Bruce Jenner: The Interview,” here are a few things likely to be discussed:

When Did Bruce Know He Was Transgender?

According to TMZ, Jenner, now 65, first identified himself as female at age 5. The site claims he has struggled ever since to come to terms with his gender identity, keeping it a secret until his December 2013 divorce from Kris Jenner, his third wife.

How Are The Kardashian And Jenner Families Handling The News?

Throughout Bruce’s reported transition from male to female, rumors have circulated that his 10 children (including four stepchildren), have struggled to come to terms with their father’s new identity. Radar Online claimed Khloé Kardashian and little half-sister Kylie Jenner were avoiding Bruce, saying they find the entire process to be humiliating.

Other sources claim quite the opposite. Before it was announced that Jenner would be sitting down for a tell-all interview, Us Weekly reported that he “had the full support” of his children. The magazine reported that the attention helped the family to realize they needed to “stand by Bruce” during this time.

Is It True That Kris Jenner Was Blindsided By Bruce Coming Out?

Although Bruce was married to Kris Jenner for nearly 25 years, TMZ reports the Kardashian momager was completely caught off guard by her ex’s transition. She claims he never told her about his desire to live his life as a female, despite reports to the contrary.

In February sources told the site Bruce had warned Kris that he “had issues with his sexual identity” even before they married. The site also claimed she and the rest of the family chose to keep his secret to ensure that it wouldn’t “hurt the brand.” Following their divorce, Bruce decided to pursue his dream of being a woman, much to Kris’ dismay.

Kris is reportedly worried that her ex-husband will badmouth her during the interview. She is said to be ready to sue if necessary.

Did Bruce Undergo Plastic Surgery To Appear More Feminine?

Rumors have been circulating for more than a year about Bruce’s rapidly changing appearance. Multiple sites claim the athlete-turned-reality-star has gone under the knife to have his Adam’s apple shaved down, gotten a nose job, breast implants and more.

Has He Undergone Hormone Treatments?

TMZ previously reported that Bruce had been receiving hormone therapy treatments, which would help his body to produce estrogen, making his transition to female easier. The site claimed he had been getting the shots for some time and that, eventually, the therapy would cause changes in his voice, breast tissue and skin, among other things.

Will There Be A Bruce Jenner Reality Show?

It has been widely believed that Bruce Jenner is using this interview with Diane Sawyer as a lead-in to an E! spinoff series chronicling his journey. If these reports are true, the show would follow Bruce from the earliest stages of his transition through gender reassignment surgery.

When Will His Transition Be Complete?

Jenner’s reality show, if it exists, would follow his transition through to the end. The show was rumored to be receiving a May 2015 air date, though it has since been reported that he put the show on hold to ensure his entire family was on board before moving forward.

“Bruce Jenner: The Interview” will be airing exclusively on ABC at 9 p.m. EDT.
