BTS fans are in for a mega treat as the global sensation is all set to hold a free concert in Busan, South Korea, in October.

Dubbed "BTS Yet to Come in Busan," the live concert will be held on Oct. 15 at the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal Outdoor Parking, the group announced Wednesday.

The free concert, which is expected to gather thousands of fans from around the world, will also be available via an in-person event called Live Play. Fans will be able to watch the show in real-time on a large screen in a separate venue at Okayama Nikko Special Stage.

The concert will also be live streamed online for fans globally on multiple apps, including Weverse, ZEPETO and NAVER NOW.

"We hope ARMY (fandom name) from all around the world will send a lot of support to BTS's special performance to promote Busan's bid for World Expo 2030," the group's label Big Hit Music said in the English translation of its official statement published by Koreaboo.

The concert is aimed at promoting South Korea's bid to host the World Expo in Busan in 2030.

The music label also emphasized that "shows may be canceled or rescheduled due to show time quarantine policy." The company added while tickets are free, concertgoers will have to bear the reservation and ticket shipping fees.

"The tickets will be free of charge and allocated through a lottery system. There will be two rounds of giveaways," an official from Big Hit Music explained to The Korea Herald. The event venue located in Gijang-gun, north of Busan, has the capacity to accommodate 100,000 attendees.

Thousands of tweets were dedicated to the concert Wednesday with #YetToComeInBUSAN as fans voiced their excitement for the upcoming event.

"THIS IS INSANEㅡ bts concert will have capacity of 100k people (face-to-face) and 10k for live-play and millions of live-viewers from all around the world. No one is doing it like @BTS_twt," a fan tweeted.

"imagine louder than bombs with 100k offline armys, on BTS 2030 Busan expo concert," another user tweeted with an aerial shot of a previous BTS concert showing thousands of its supporters singing along with the idols.

"Yet To Come" is also the title of BTS' latest single from their new album "Proof" released in June.
