BTS’ Jimin heralded April fools’ day by pulling a prank on loyal followers using the group’s Twitter page.

On Friday, the 26-year-old “Butter” singer tinkered with the group’s official Twitter page and changed its name to “Jimin Park.” He also changed its header photo and profile photo before tweeting. “I don't know how to change it back to original. I don't know anyway, #JIMIN.”

The header photo of BTS’ page now features a blue-haired Jimin and its profile photo shows baby Jimin in a walker.

His amusing mishap caused him to trend on Twitter anew under the topics, “JIMIN JIMIN,” “OMG Jimin” and “THE FATHER OF BTS” with the first topic going over a million tweets as of Friday.

A fan wrote, “The best April Fool’s Day Jiminie you are so cute Have a nice day our Jimin. We’re so glad that you’re enjoying your days in U.S. Can’t wait to listen to your BEST OST!”

“Is there someone in this world better than him? the answer is no. Park Jimin (jimin park) i love you with my whole heart,” another one said.

This was not the only prank he pulled on April 1. Jimin also changed his profile picture on his Instagram page to a photo of BTS Founder and HYBE Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk.

A supporter, who found the prank very amusing said, “OMG JIMIN!!! you're really playing it well!!! You're seriously THE FATHER OF BTS, you really fooled us.”

Previously, V also changed the header and profile photos on the group’s Twitter page before posting a photo of himself looking out the window while wearing a headset. He wrote, “I’m tipsy.” J-Hope and Suga also once tinkered with BTS' official Twitter page and changed its name to “SOPE.” The duo also uploaded a photo of them into the header and profile sections of the micro-blogging platform. The oldest member of the group, Jin, would not be outdone as he, too, had fun changing the photos on the page into a photo of him holding a lobster to his ear.

Meanwhile, BTS’ label Big Hit Music released a statement Thursday on the Weverse app and said that perpetrators of malicious posts against BTS are now under investigation.

“We have recently filed multiple criminal complaints using new information provided by fans as well as collected through our monitoring initiatives. We have filed criminal suits after reviewing personal attacks on online channels and online posts containing defamation,” Big Hit Music said in a statement published by Koreaboo.
