BTS’ Jungkook has revealed how he and his bandmates managed to stay grounded amid their massive global success.

BTS recently discussed various topics, ranging from their career to their achievements over the past several years, during an exclusive interview with NDTV‘s Rohit Khilnani. The K-pop group was asked about how they managed to remain down-to-earth despite their accomplishments.

Jungkook responded on behalf of the group, saying that every single award and recognition BTS has received felt unbelievable.

“They are all amazing things that we still can’t make sense of,” the 23-year-old singer said, before crediting fans for their success.

“There could be various factors that contributed to us coming this far, maybe it is our effort or timing. But, we truly believe that the love and support from ARMY made all of this possible,” he added.

Since releasing their first single in 2013, BTS has sold millions of albums, topped Billboard charts, graced the cover of Time magazine, given a speech at the United Nations general assembly twice and became the first Korean group to perform at the Grammys, among many other achievements.

According to Jungkook, keeping in mind that their fans helped them get where they are today allows them to stay humble and reminds them to never take anything for granted.

“That’s the most important thing that keeps us grounded,” the youngest BTS member concluded.

One of the qualities that RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook share that attracts millions of fans is their humble nature, which hasn’t changed since BTS debuted in the music scene in South Korea in 2013.

When asked how millions of fans are able to connect with their songs despite not being able to understand their language, Jin said that music has no language barriers.

“Music is a medium that connects people. And we thank ARMY for enjoying our songs even though they don’t speak the language,” he explained.

BTS, who just released the all-English single “Dynamite” and performed an online concert, is now preparing for the release of their new album, “BE,” on Nov. 20.
