BTS obliterated YouTube records and music charts with its first all-English single titled "Dynamite," which was released on Aug. 21.

The music sensation’s latest upbeat disco song was extremely loved and well-received by fans all around the world, thanks to which the music video started breaking records as soon as it was released.

The achievements and records that BTS’s "Dynamite" managed to gain in a single day are as follows:

1) Biggest YouTube premiere in history

"Dynamite" had the biggest live count during its premiere. The music video also broke the record for having the biggest YouTube premiere of all time. As reported by Kpopstarz, a total of 3 to 4 million people had tuned in for the song's premiere.

2) Best 24-hour debut record on YouTube

The BTS Army had set up a goal of achieving 100 million views on YouTube within 24 hours to express their love and appreciation for the band’s effort. BTS's managing agency Big Hit Entertainment and YouTube confirmed that "Dynamite" successfully broke the 24-hour debut record with an impressive 101.1 million views.

This record was previously held by BLACKPINK’s "How You Like That" music video with 86.3 million views.

3) Topped Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart ranking

'Dynamite' debuted as No.1 on Spotify’s daily Global Top 50 chart when it was released on Aug. 21 and gained over 7.778 million streams in 24 hours. The record was previously held by Taylor Swift’s single "Cardigan" with 7.742 million streams.

'Dynamite' was the band’s first song to top the chart. The single also became the first and only song by a Korean artist to do so.

4) Achieved the greatest number of No.1 hits on iTunes charts

BTS achieved the record for the artist with the greatest number of No.1 hits in history even before the release of "Dynamite." The single topped the iTunes’ Song charts in over 100 countries within 8 hours of its release, which also made BTS the fastest artist to achieve it for a single song.

BTS is also currently the only group to have five songs that attained over 100 No.1 hits on the iTunes charts.

Meanwhile, the band also released a "B-Side" music video which showcases the bloopers while filming "Dynamite."
