General Motors’ (GM) Cadillac brand is expected to introduce a fifth-generation Escalade with an all-electric power option, rivaling Tesla’s Model X, Cadillac Society reported.

While the new electrically-powered Escalade reportedly won’t be launched until 2020 as a 2021 model, news is already surfacing about its electric powertrain. Based on the SUVs ability to drive upwards of 400 miles per charge, it is expected that the vehicle will have a hefty power pack to support the driving range, Inside EVs reported.

To date, Tesla’s Model X has a 325-mile driving range per charge and is currently the only electric SUV on the market. Rivian is also in the works of developing an electric SUV with the R1S model.

Reports suggest that the new Escalade will come with three power options, including the electric variant. Other anticipated details of the Escalade include an integrated Super Cruise feature, which is Cadillac’s a semi-autonomous hands-free driver-assist program.

The Escalade is also expected to provide a quieter ride versus the fuel-powered engine based on the electric option, the news outlet said.

Shares of GM stock were up 1.19 percent as of 1:58 p.m. ET on Monday.
