Camila Cabello reveals she is in an awe of singer Ed Sheeran.

The 25-year-old Cuban-American singer praised Sheeran, 31, for living his life like a "normal" person and having a "private life."

"He just strives to be an artist, and then also just lives his life as a normal dude," Cabello told Cosmopolitan in an interview published Thursday. "He has a whole private life that people don’t know about."

She went on to share how Sheeran has "fun, hangs out with his friends, has a family, has dinner with the people he loves," and added, "I think Ed just lives it. He’s just out here trying to have fun with good people and make music he loves. And that’s the same thing I’m trying to do."

Aside from gushing over Sheeran's life, Cabello also spoke about her love life after breaking up with boyfriend, singer Shawn Mendes, 23 in November 2021.

The "Havana" star shared that she doesn't put a lot of "focus" on her love life now as she "really want to hang out with people" and "make friends."

"I’ve made a lot of great friends over the past year…If something happens, then that’s really fun, but I don’t put any pressure on it," she added. "Before I used to be like, ‘Yes, love, oh my god, love,’ and now I’m just trying to have a good time."

Cabello further shared that she is focusing on living her life and having great friendships. However, she made it clear that she is open to love and if "something comes out of [them] that’s something more, then that’s great."

During the interview, the singer also spoke about how therapy helped her deal with anxiety.

"It was something I just lived with," she said about anxiety. "I was used to having functioning anxiety that got really bad every half a year. Then I started opening up to friends, and I realised how much suffering and neuroses are normal."

She also shared how "pretending is a form of psychological torture" and eventually "brings the most anxiety" before adding, "We do that so much in our society and culture. We’re constantly hustling and putting on a smile when we don’t feel good."

On the work front, Cabello dropped her last music video, "Hasta Los Dientes" on May 13.
