Frank Grillo will appear as Crossbones/Brock Rumlow in “Captain America: Civil War.” He recently spilled details about his costume in the film.

Reportedly, he did seven fittings for the costume. “I was doing another movie, and they flew out. It was top secret. They came in with briefcases and I was like, “Really?! For a helmet?!” And then, when I went in my trailer and saw it and put it on, it changed my whole DNA. It’s amazing,” he said to Collider.

He also added he “felt like a little boy” when he wore the costume.

Grillo revealed his first look in the Crossbones costume in an Instagram image in May. In the image, he is seen dressed in a black metallic armor with a mask. He captioned the photo as “frankgrillo1I will find you. All of you. #x.” The actor also revealed in the interview his character will not be explored much in the movie as there are a lot of characters in the film.

“This movie is such a big movie with a lot of people in it, so you don’t get as much of the time that you’d like to have. But, it’s all good. We’ll see what happens,” he said.

In the comics, Crossbones/Rumlow leads a gang on New York’s Lower East Side. He later becomes an instructor in a school for criminals. He is a master at hand-to-hand combat and is an expert marksman. He also has the ability to generate a circle of energy in front of his face, which helps in the generation of fire beams. Mark Gruenwald and Kieron Dwyer created the character and he made his first appearance in “Captain America” No. 359.

Grillo first portrayed the character of Rumlow in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” He was the commander of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s counterterrorism S.T.R.I.K.E. team and at the end of the film he was hospitalized after the Triskelion's destruction.

It is not known how his character will develop in “Captain America: Civil War” which opens May 6. It also stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, and Paul Rudd.
