Hornitos calls for bartenders to first create the simple syrup (which is a quick process). Combine equal parts sugar and water with 1 jalapeño slice and 4 rosemary sprigs and bring to a boil to create jalapeño rosemary simple syrup.

Add all ingredients together in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Pour ingredients from the shaker to a highball glass with ice. Garnish with a pineapple chunk and rosemary sprigs.

  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

Place everything into shaker with 1.5 cups of ice. Shake for 30 seconds and pour into a glass. Garnish with a lime and/or cucumber slice and serve. 21 Seeds says bartenders can also rim the glass with salt or add club soda to make it a margarita spritz.

Mango Habanero Margarita

  • 1.5 oz of Mango Habanero-Infused Blue Nectar Silver Tequila
  • 1.5 oz of Sour mix
  • .25 oz Triple sec

This is the only Margarita Day recipe that requires a little bit more effort, but it’s a good lockdown project.

First, infuse silver tequila. Cut up mango, place in an airtight container and pour in the tequila. Close the lid and infuse for 3 days. Then, add sliced habanero peppers and infuse for one more day. Finally, strain. (Remember, the longer the tequila infuses the more flavor and spice it will have. If you want it extra spicy, leave the habanero peppers in longer.)

Once you’re making the drink, simply rim your glass with salt (or chile lime salt, if you’re feeling fancy). Mix ingredients in a shaker with ice and garnish with a lime.
