Chance The Rapper Announces Magnificent Coloring World 2 Concert For His Biggest Fans

Do you consider yourself to be one of the Chance the Rapper’s biggest fans? If you really are a huge fan of the Chicago artist, your time spent on Soundcloud may have gotten you a chance to attend a secret concert.

On Thursday, the “No Problem” rapper announced his Magnificent Coloring World 2 concert, also known as MCW 2, would be taking place in Chicago on April 8 and people chosen to go to the event would find out on Friday morning.

Thanks to fans of the artist on Twitter, we now know the Soundcloud chose fans who were in the top of Chance’s listening fan base. Twitter user @ThatGirlAly_ posted a screenshot of her invite which read: “We’ve identified you in the top 0.001 percent of Chance’s listening fan base. Because you are such an amazing fan, Chance would like to invite you first, to purchase tickets to a private, once in a lifetime experience this Saturday in Chicago.”

A second screenshot from the user confirmed the rapper would be performing in Chicago on Saturday at a “secret location.” It’s uncertain if other fans will be able to purchase tickets to the concert but the wording in the emails makes it seem like his biggest supporters will have the first shot at tickets. Separate screenshots from other fans who got picked revealed the price for their tickets were $20 and the concert would take place from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Chance also tweeted about wanting someone from Netflix to attend the event. “I’m praying that I could get just one person from @netflix to come to Chicago for the next two days,” he wrote, leading some fans to believe the concert could end up on the streaming service.
