The summer season is bringing in some fresh anime shows to heat things up for fans. Crunchyroll has released its first set of anime series, along with continuing blockbusters like "Tokyo Revengers" and "My Hero Academia."

Crunchyroll Summer 2021 anime lineup

  1. "Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S": Kobayashi, Tohru and the other dragon friends are returning for a new season of the anime by Kyoto Animation.
  2. "Peach Boy Riverside": "One princess aims to travel the world when one day she encounters a famous ogre-slaying warrior!" read the series synopsis. Asahi Production is the studio animating this series.
  3. "That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime" Season 2: The second cour of the slime anime's Season 2 is set to premiere soon. Rimuru and his kingdom Tempest prepare to battle against Demon Lord Clayman and his evil army.
  4. "Fena: Pirate Princess": "After an orphan escapes to the high seas, she takes her place as captain of a pirate crew for a swashbuckling adventure!" read the synopsis of the show. Production I.G. is bringing this Crunchyroll Originals series.
  5. "Girlfriend, Girlfriend": A triangular love story by Tezuka Productions revolves around the life of a high schooler who dates two girlfriends at the same time.
  6. "The Aquatope on White Sand": A slice-of-life anime from P.A. Works focusing on a former idol exploring life in Okinawa. "One former idol goes to Okinawa and finds a new life helping a struggling aquarium from shutting down," read the synopsis.
  7. "The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace": Mappa Studio comes with an action-packed anime featuring demons and gods. "As demons wake from their great slumber, descendants of battle-gods called Idaten and humanity fight back!"
  8. "I'm Standing On a Million Lives" Season 2: Maho Film's isekai anime gets a second season. Yusuke Yotsuya and the others start their battle against the Orc Army.

Apart from these titles, Crunchyroll will continue streaming fan-favorites like "My Hero Academia" Season 5, "Tokyo Revengers," which is kickstarting a new arc named "Bloody Halloween Arc," "Boruto Naruto Next Generations," "Case Closed," "One Piece," "To Your Eternity," "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai," "Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun!" Season 2, "SD Gundam World Heroes," and "Kiyo in Kyoto: From The Maiko House."
