He warned Ben that if Ciara didn’t stop snooping to see if he was the one who really killed Jordan that he would make sure they both paid. Now, with Victor hospitalized after having a stroke, Xander could start making good on his threats for revenge on the Tuesday, Jan. 7 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After realizing that Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was actually snooping for something and figuring out that despite saying she had broken up with him, she was still visiting Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) in prison, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Victor (John Aniston) became furious that she had deceived them on the NBC soap. While Victor confronted his granddaughter for lying to him, Xander went to Ben and threatened him that if the investigating to see if they were really responsible for Jordan’s (Chrishell Stause) death and framed him didn’t stop, he would hurt both Ciara and Ben. Since then, Victor had a stroke in the middle of his argument with Ciara, and now, Xander may want to get revenge after all.

“Xander blames Ciara for Victor’s medical crisis,” spoilers reveal.

Naturally, Xander will be furious with Ciara because she’s been trying to prove he killed Jordan instead of Ben, and knowing that she was confronting Victor about possibly dispatching him to do it will enrage him further. Now, if he wants to use his power and pull to make sure Ciara and Ben both suffer, he could find a way to get the ultimate in revenge—by making sure that Ben’s final appeal is denied and he is sentenced to death for his sister’s murder.

Meanwhile, news of what happened to Victor will continue to spread through Salem, and other loved ones will learn of his condition as well, including Brady (Eric Martsolf), who is still mourning the death of his baby daughter and is reeling from Kristen's (Stacy Haiduk) unexpected return to town.

“Brady learns about Victor’s condition,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
