Kanoko Matsukaze visits Kyoto looking for Japanese sweets in "Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" Episode 8. The new episode is called "Chestnut Retrospective."

The official synopsis and spoiler stills of Episode 8 are out now. After her breakup, Kanoko arrives in Kyoto as she explores Japanese sweets.

Meanwhile, Nagomu is upset and starts throwing tantrums when he loses his chestnut headgear. "Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" Episode 8 will show Kanoko and Nagomu teaming up to find a headgear.

In the previous episode, titled "Dancing in Autumn Colors," Ryokushou welcomed a new artisan named Kisaichi Hiiro. She was mesmerized by Tatsumi Masa's elegant creations and decided to become a wagashi craftsman herself.

Due to her attitude, she started losing sight of her goal and Masa chipped in to help her understand the true spirit of an artisan.

"A new artisan, Kisaichi Hiiro, arrives at Ryokushou. Enchanted by artisan Tatsumi Masa's sculpted sweets, Hiiro decides to become a wagashi artisan herself. However, her overly serious mindset and perfectionism cause her to lose sight of her surroundings and to make mistakes," read the official synopsis of "Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" Episode 7, as per Crunchyroll.

"She becomes despondent, then Masa teaches her about the spirit of an artisan. Amidst all of this, due to a whim of Nagomu's, Ryokushou holds a Hands-on Wagashi Class at the elementary school Itsuka attends," it continued.

"Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" anime is based on the original story by Rin Asano.

The cast of the anime includes Kozue Yuki as Itsuka Yukihira, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Nagomu Irino, Minori Suzuki as Mitsuru Horikawa, Rikiya Koyama as Heigo Irino, Saori Hayami as Hiiro Kisaichi, Satsuki Yukino as Otsuru-san, Sayaka Ohara as Fuki Irino, Takuma Nagatsuka as Saki Seto, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Tomoe Yukihira, Hiroshi Iwasaki as Masa Tatsumi, Izou Oikawa as Ikko Irino, Miho Yoshida as Masayo Irino and Minami Takahashi as Kanoko Matsukaze.

The opening theme song of "Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" anime, titled "Sumire," is performed by Maaya Sakamoto. The ending theme song is titled "Koko ni Aru Yakusoku."

"Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness" Episode 8 is airing Wednesday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. It will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
