Demi Lovato is now back in the U.S. after her volunteer work in Kenya. Based on her latest Instagram post, the “Stone Cold” singer could be heading to Washington this Saturday to join the Women’s March on Washington event.

On Wednesday, the former “Barney” actress took to Instagram to share with her millions of followers an infographic about the Women’s March. Lovato expressed in the caption that she’s very proud of the strong women out there who will be attending the event to fight for equality.

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter did not mention if she’s going, but her fans are quite pleased to know that she is one with the advocacy. Many have encouraged the “Camp Rock” star to be part of the march, which will feature live performances by Janelle Monae, Angelique Kidjo, Maxwell, Indigo Girls, Emily Wells and many more, as per Billboard. Unfortunately, Lovato has yet to drop hints or confirm that she’ll be in attendance.

While many Lovatics were proud of the singer’s gesture to spread the news about the event, there were also people who slammed Lovato for promoting the movement. One wrote: “Women have rights, they just take them for granted and beg for special interest by the people.” Another commented: “Get a life Demi. It’s over and Trump won. Time to move on and support the winner.”

Lovato has been vocal about being a feminist. Last year, she called out women and other artists who brand themselves as feminists but do not do their share of spreading the advocacy. “My thing is, don’t brand yourself a feminist if you don’t do the work. I have an immense amount of respect for women like Lena Dunham … who make amazing political statements through their work,” she told Refinery29.

The “Heart Attack” songstress also made headlines in 2016 when she slammed Taylor Swift and her squad in her interview with Glamour Magazine. “It’s not realistic. And I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment,” she said of Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video.

Meanwhile, Lovato returned home on Sunday after her volunteer trip in Kenya last week. She reportedly visited Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve as youth organization Me To We’s ambassador. She documented her trip on Instagram, updating her fans through photos of her volunteer work.
