In other "Demon Slayer" news, Koyoharu Gotouge, the creator of the hit series, confirmed that a new spin-off manga is in development. This is a new kind of manga and definitely not what many fans anticipate. The confirmation was later supported by the latest issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. It officially announced the "Demon Slayer" manga spin-off called "Kimetsu Gakuen" anime shorts.

The spin-off will include all the fan-favorite characters of the series but with chibi-like looks. Moreover, they will be placed in a hilarious new school setting. The manga spin-off will be serialized by "Hell Warden Higuma" creator Natsuki Hokami. It is scheduled to debut in Shueisha's Saikyo Jump magazine on August 4.

To celebrate the manga spin-off announcement, "Demon Slayer" creator Koyoharu Gotouge shared a new sketch that features Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko. Both sport the same school uniformed appearances.

As for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Season 2, the anime is expected to debut in October 2021.
