SEGA has just announced that the game adaptation of the hit anime and box-office movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" would see a Western release alongside its debut in Japan.

The game, which is officially called "Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles," is scheduled to debut in North America and Europe on October 15. The announcement coincided with the release of a new action-packed trailer, which tells the story of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" season one.

On top of that, SEGA revealed that three versions of "Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles" will be available for purchase. Fans will be able to choose from its standard edition (physical), digital edition or Digital Deluxe Edition.

The Digital Deluxe Edition will be packed with extra goodies, including the 8,000 "slayer points," three Butterfly Mansion skins, 12 character avatars and a custom PlayStation 4 theme.

Fans who will purchase the game's digital edition will also be entitled to get some bonuses, including one character key, two character avatars and a PlayStation 4 theme.

Meanwhile, those will who pre-order "Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles" will get several extra goodies, including one or two bonus characters and a wide range of other freebies based on the player's choice of gaming platform. Fans will also be able to enjoy the game earlier than others when they pre-order its Digital Deluxe Edition.

As for the latest trailer, it showcases Tanjiro, the main protagonist of the series, along with his sister Nezuko and his fellow demon-slaying rookies. It shows that the game is an arena fighter title, which is a standard choice for manga and anime franchises that are adapted to video games.

Moreover, it features the game's story mode where players can enjoy the events that happened in "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" manga and anime. Apparently, the game also has a versus mode where players can battle against other players while playing as one of the characters in the series.
