The Wednesday night Powerball drawing did not produce a grand prize winner for the $76 million jackpot, with a cash option of $38.2 million.

Since the jackpot went unclaimed, the Saturday drawing will grow to $93 million with a cash value of $46.7 million.

The winning lottery drawing numbers from Wednesday were 28, 34, 51, 53, and 56, with a red Powerball of 11. The Power Play was 2X.

Even though no one walked away with the jackpot, plenty of ticket holders across the country picked up notable prizes.

A player from Arizona and another from Georgia hit the Match 5 and won $1 million apiece. If the players had purchased a Power Play for an additional $1, they could have increased their prize to $2 million.

Additionally, two players hit the Match 4 plus the red Powerball with a Power Play purchase and won $100,000 each. Also, three players scored $50,000 by matching four white balls.

More than 420,000 tickets won prizes at all levels from the Wednesday night drawing, totaling $4.7 million.

The latest Powerball drawing comes after a player from Oregon claimed a $1 million ticket by hitting the Match 5 in the Nov. 7 drawing.

Brooks Keebey, 82, a retired truck driver from Salem, bought $10 worth of tickets at the TNT Hollywood Tavern and scored a major win.

After taxes, Keebey will receive an estimated $680,000. He plans to use the money to pay property taxes and buy his wife a Cadillac.

To win the Powerball jackpot, players must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.

Five numbers need to be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

Winners can opt for a lump sum payment or an annuity, which includes one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Powerball tickets are available for purchase in participating territories for $2 each. Drawings for the game are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays and can be viewed on local networks.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot is a 1 in 292.2 million chance.
